I Failed my Driver’s Test 800 Times and I now Can’t get a License?-  Were you one of many folks in the world who failed their driver’s test at least one time?  You gave everybody in the driver’s ed car a whiplash everyday after school.  You hit every car in the parking lot the first time you tried to parallel park.  And in some cases you got behind the wheel and just plain sucked when you tried to drive.  But, after some study and practice you passesed, right?  Well, this old broad didn’t.  A South Korean woman who failed the driver’s exam 775 times is not about give up on her hope of buying a truck one day to go into her own business, whether other drivers want her on the road or not.  From the looks of it, they probably don’t.

Cha Sa-soon, 68, Seoul South Korea, has been trying since 2005 to pass the written portion of the test to get a licensee, but she hasn’t come close to the 60 percent required to be licensed.  “I’ve looked up some guidebooks to get driver’s license, and they were saying it takes at most five years to get one in my name with my picture,” Cha said in North Jeolla province.  “It’s already been four years, so I might pass test next time. That’s what I hope, but with my luck I’ll probably have seizure  before I drive” (http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20090221/od_uk_nm/oukoe_uk_korea_driver).

South Korean driver’s courses permit applicants to walk away with a license in a few days.  Cha has not been fortunate enough to take such a class, or so much as sit behind the wheel of a car with four wheels, but she remains unfazed, even after having spent more than four years of failing and $6,800 on the applications.  Wow.  She spent $7000 on the tests but didn’t have a few quid for an actual driving class where they put you in a car and teach you how to drive it?  That’s like paying $6800 bucks for a bunch of hookers on the internet, only you don’t get to see them in person, ever.  Oh well. Maybe grammie can go to the proctor’s house and love someone long time just to catch a break.  Just don’t let her drive on the way over.
